Learn More about Worton's History

Worton ESG and Carbon Credit is a company specialized in consulting and projects in ESG, circular economy and environmental processes whose main focus is the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions through emissions inventory and environmental reports based on the main international methods and standards. In addition, Worton specializes in carbon measurement, carbon credit projects and green CPR. In the strategy of offsetting CO2 equivalent through transactions in carbon credits, Worton works with specialized funds and national and international companies that are signatories to the Kyoto Protocol and confirmed in the Paris Agreement, which totals more than 190 countries.

More than 356,000 companies in Brazil are polluting in nature (with direct emissions of GHGs – Greenhouse Gases, through Scope 1). Of these, more than 4% generate pollutants above 25,000 tons of CO2 equivalent. Agriculture and land management are rich sources of CO2 capture, which can generate, through certified inventories, valuable projects that can issue carbon credits and green CPR for Brazil and Europe, generating annual revenues for the producer.
